lyrics

Landscapes

From the foothills of the highlands to the boarders I've run
Under dark clouds my father blew wild
On my shoulders I've anchored a little sail boat
For Lord you see I'm a runaway child

Now there's two which ways any circle can take
One turns around whilst another's embraced
And there's two which ways any string can lead
So for now we'll move through the age of uncertainty

So gather all your windfall and we'll set out to begin
See I'm building me a landscape with off cuts and ends
Past state lines where the fields been cleared
And the birds fly around circle high and disappear
